Good morning friends!
For the past few days I've been talking about Karen Burniston's new dies being released through Elizabeth Craft Designs at CHA. Wafer thin, interactive dies that allow you to choose both the size of card AND choose where you place the dies along the fold. As well, they each contain the decorator pieces - all in one slim little package. Love.
I've been playing with the Heart Pivot die, and have another non-Valentine card to share with it. Hearts are good for so many different occasions!
This was a really quick card to make - I cut the cloud paper to an A2 sized card and the white inside card to 5-1/4 x 8-1/4". The layers were attached together with lots of dry adhesive. I cut the Heart Pivot through both layers, then added some heart layers cut with the decorator dies that come with the Pop it Ups Heart Pivot. Easy Peasy.
I fussy cut a few clouds from a scrap of the patterned paper and added some hand lettering ... done!
Here is a peek at the back of the card...
I left the front plain, with just the pretty cloud paper and layered hearts taking center stage.
A friend came over this weekend to make some cards, and we used some of Karen Burniston's Pop it Ups dies ... she liked them as much as I do, and understood why I'm so excited about them. Just sayin'. :-)
Here is a picture of the packaging for the Pivot Heart, and you can see all seven (SEVEN!!) of the dies you get in the package:
The dies will be ready to ship to retailers right after CHA (January 10 - 14th 2014), so if you are interested in purchasing them be sure to contact your local shop and have them place their pre-orders! They will also be shipping to Canada and overseas, so don't think that these are only available in the US. If your local retailers are attending CHA, have them stop by the Elizabeth Craft Designs booth #441 and see the dies in action as well as all the sample cards.
Supplies used:
775 Heart Pivot - Karen Burinston's Pop it Ups (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Cloud paper - Pebbles
White card stock - Staples
