Father's Day Flip-It Card

Good morning friends!

I have a Flip-It card to share today, using the Square Flip-It Framelit die set. I love that the Framelits come with layering dies - makes it so easy to make a coordinating card, AND use up scraps!  This is the card I made for my Mom to give Dad for Father's Day.

My Dad has limited mobility in his hands (Parkinson's) and a Flip-It card will be easy for him to open.

While I had the papers and stamps out, I made another almost identical card and turned that one into a Birthday card to donate to Seniors Secret Service!

Supplies used:
Card size - standard A2 (4-1/4 x 5-1/2")
Brown card stock - Bazzill
Square Flip-It Framelit - Stephanie Barnard, Stamps of Life
Fox, word baloon /diesand cloud stamps - Lawn Fawn
Shadow stamp - Paper Smooches
Patterned paper - Colorbok
Ribbon - from my stash
Copic markers

Father's Day Camper Card

Good morning friends!

My Mom asked me to make them a couple of Father's Day cards since it's hard for them to get out shopping for cards. This is one of the cards; I made it for my parents to give our Son In Law ...

I used some fun new items I picked up in Arizona this Spring ... the stitched journal card die is going to be a favourite. The camper is from a camping stamp set I am loving. I exercised restraint and only bought the stamps and not the coordinating dies though. Sigh. Phil loves camping so he will get a kick out of this card.

Supplies used:
Card size: 4-1/2 x 6"
White card stock - Bazzill
Patterned Paper, green - Doodlebug
Patterned paper (white/blue) - Colorbok
Stitched Journal Card - Lawn Fawn (with Chevron cut outs)
Happy, and Camper stamps - MFT (Roughing It)
Peel Off border sticker - 1134 Elizabeth Craft Designs
Tombow Markers
Copic Markers

Crazy 4 Challenges #238

Good morning friends!

It's time for another challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog! This week the theme is "School's Out ... we are to make a card showing what we might be doing during the summer holidays".

We used to camp a lot, so I went with a camping theme. I also decided to make this into a Father's Day card!

I love the Katie Label Pivot, a Pop it Ups die by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I also used an older stamp set - it's always good to get out our older ones and use them again!

The lantern and mosquitoes were stamped right onto the Katie Label decorator die, but the binoculars, sleeping bag and campfire were stamped on scraps of white card stock and fussy cut out so I could pop them up with foam tape.

I added another label (trimmed) as an area to sign the card, and stamped the marshmallows and bugs directly on that. The words on the pivoting label were hand lettered.

Finally, here is the card views from the top and the back ...

I hope you will check out what the rest of the Crazies came up with for this challenge, and link up your projects if you play along!

Supplies used:
Card size: Standard A2 (5-1/2 x 4-1/4")
Katie Label Pivot - Pop it Ups, Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Patterned paper - We R Memory Keepers
Stamps - Stampin' Up (Retired)
Copics
