Pop-Up Snowman Card

 Good morning friends

***NOTE:  I will be moving my cards and paper crafting to Painted Mountain Cards in the New Year. I've been thinking about it for a long while, and the New Year seems like a good time to make the change. I will leave this blog open, as there are frequent hits from Pinterest and over 5 years worth of cards etc to reference.

Today I have another Pop 'n Cut Christmas card to share - made using one of the many card bases I cut out a couple of years ago. I still have some that will have to wait until Christmas 2017 to complete, although I hope to work on holiday cards throughout the year.

I used an older Karen Burniston Pop 'n Cut die with the Wavy Label Insert. The snowman was a clear sticker that was adhered to white card stock then fussy cut.

Supplies:
A2 Pop 'n Cut Base with Wavy Label Insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Wavy Label Framelits - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Stickers - Paper Studio
Outside stamp - Papertrey Ink
Inside stamp - MFT Stamps
White card stock
Patterned paper - stash

Card size - Standard A2

Birch Trees and Deer Christmas Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

Today's share is another Christmas card using a Pop 'n Cut card base I cut a couple of years ago.

I added a glitter Peel-Off border to the front, and there is additional sparkle and shine right on the patterned paper.

Inside I added a brown die-cut deer to the Pop-Up portion, but no other decorations as I loved the tree printed paper and wanted it to take centre stage.

Deer and Pinecones Pop-Up Christmas Card

Good morning friends

I have decided to move my cards and paper crafting to Painted Mountain Cards in the New Year. I've been toying around with the idea for a long while, and this seems like a good time to make the change. I will leave this blog open, as there are still a lot of hits from Pinterest and over 5 years worth of cards etc to reference.

Onto today's share ...

Today's holiday card is another one that I had pre-cut a couple of years ago using Pop 'n Cuts by Karen Burniston for Sizzix. The front of the card was left fairly simple, as I liked the embossed & shiny design. I did add glittery Peel-Off Borders and Glitter Dots for more shimmer & shine.

Inside, the designs are also embossed and shiny. I simply added a die cut deer to the pop-up, stamped a greeting and added more glittery Peel-off borders.

I've made a really good dent in those pre-cut cards this year, but there are still lots to make up for next year!

Supplies:
Patterned paper - stash
Pop 'n Cut A2 base with Wavy Label Insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Deer - Tim Holtz, Sizzix
7010 Glitter lines - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Glitter Dots - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Words - Papertrey Ink
White card stock

Snowman and Holly Pop-Up Card Trio

Good morning friends

I have a sparkly Christmas card trio to share today, using up bits and pieces from my stash.

I had cut quite a few Pop 'n Cut inner cards a few years ago and had them ready to decorate. I like to add the Pop 'n Cut inner cards to the larger Scalloped Card Bases, which were also pre-cut a few years ago.

The snowmen were in my pile as well, I just added the holly and berries to finish off the fronts. Below are the card insides, all three are very similar. The pattered paper has sparkly bits, and the sparkly snowman stickers were adhered to white card stock then fussy cut.

Three more holiday cards done and ready to go.

Supplies:
Embossing folder - Cuttlebug
White card stock
Snowman - Tim Holtz, Sizzix
Holly - Papertrey Ink

Washi Tape

"Ho Ho Ho" Christmas Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

I still have a bunch of pre-cut Pop 'n Cut card inserts in my stash, so used one here for this Christmas Card. I like adhering the Pop-Up inner card to this Sizzix Scalloped card base because of it's size (4-1/2 x 6")

I had these thick felt stickers in my stash so added three to the card front in a vertical row.

Inside I adhered this cute fireplace embellishment over the Pop-Up base, and added border stickers and a lined tag for writing.

Supplies:
Sparkly Patterned Paper - My Minds Eye
Scallop Card Base - Sizzix
Felt Ho's - Hobby Lobby
Pop 'n Cut A2 base with Wavy Label Insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Wavy Label Thinnest
White card stock

Leafy Pop-Up Thanksgiving Cards

Good morning friends

Not only do I have dozens of Christmas Pop 'n Cut card bases cut and ready to decorate, I discovered these Thanksgiving ones in my 'In Progress' box as well.

There were 10 of them, all pretty much identical. I took  photo of four of them, as that was what 8 of the cards looked like. The other card uses up a narrow strip of the leafy patterned paper and there were 2 of those.

The brown layer is actually a pearlized card stock - and it catches the light. So pretty. On the two cards with the narrow strip of leafy patterned paper I embossed the entire panel before adhering it to the card front.

The cards were made with the A2 Pop 'N Cut Base and the flower insert. The whole inner card was embossed with a leaf embossing folder, then I just adhered a bunch of punched and die cut leaves.

Thanksgiving greeting stamps are hard to find so I was happy to add this one to my collection last year. Plus, the label stamp comes with them!

Supplies:
Beige Astroparche card stock
Charcoal Stardream card stock
Pop 'n Cut A2 base with Flowers insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Patterned papers - unknown
Various die and punched leaves
Flags - My Favorite Things
Thanksgiving Greetings - The Alleyway Stamps
Thanksgiving verse and labels - Reverse Confetti

Card size - A2

Warm Winter Wishes Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

I have a confession. I have an 'in progress' holiday card bin and it has dozens (DOZENS!!!) of Pop 'n Cut cards cut and ready to embellish and assemble. I went a little crazy with my Karen Burniston  Pop 'n Cut dies when I first brought them home from Arizona.

Just a little :-)

So you will be seeing quite a few as I start finishing off cards from that bin.

Here is one using some cute snowman stickers from my stash. I really like this Scalloped Front Card die for it's size - it's 4-1/2 x 6".  The stickers were added to white card stock then fussy cut. For the front, I used one of Karen Burniston's new clear Holiday stamps, the snowflakes from the All Season's Tree and the little snow mound from the Garden Bench Pop-Up.

Inside is the A2 Pop 'n Cut with the Wavy Label Insert, which was my favourite at the time. The patterned paper is embossed and shiny, and the stickers all have glittery bits.

As much as I want to be playing with my NEW dies and supplies - it is very satisfying to be using some older products as well. And I have another completed card for the upcoming holidays.

Supplies:
Patterned paper - stash
White card stock
Stickers - The Paper Studio
A2 Pop 'n Cut base with the Wavy Label insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Scallop front card base - Sizzix
Garden Bench (snow mound) Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Holiday Clear stamps (no swirls on the Merry Christmas) - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Stickles
All Seasons Tree (snowflakes) Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)

Card size - 4-1/2 x 6"

C4C 320 Challenge Card

Good morning friends

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge on the Crazy4Challenges Blog:  The 19th January was National Popcorn Day, so let's add some 'POP' to our cards be it by creating a card that includes the theme popcorn; creating a Pop Up Card; just Popping up your image using foam tape or just adding a Pop of color to a black & white card.

Popcorn is my favourite food on the planet. AND I have more than one popcorn stamp ... but I needed to be making Valentines so instead went with a Pop-Up Card.

This will be the Valentine for our Granddaughter, who at 4 will be able to read the word LOVE on the front.

Not only had I pre-cut dozens of Christmas card bases with an older Karen Burniston Pop 'n Cut die, I found three pre-cut bases in my Valentine card box. Managed to use two of them up this year though!

I had made our Grandson's Valentine's first and since they have a robot on them Olivia's had to have a robot as well. I added strips of Washi tape and doodled the dangling hearts.

Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C320.

Supplies:

A2 Pop 'n Cut with Circle Label insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix0
Patterned paper - Sizzix
Love Embellishment - stash
Robot stamp - The Alley Way Stamps
Coloured Pencils - Prismacolor

Zentangle Tile and last of the Christmas Pop Up Cards

Good morning friends, and welcome to my newest followers.

Before the cards, I wanted to share my 4th Zentangle Tile.

I also have a pair of Pop 'N Cuts cards to share - and that will be it for holiday cards for awhile, I promise.

Almost all of the finished Pop 'N Cut cards were sent out this year ... but I have a couple of dozen more cut and ready to be assembled and decorated. Ha! Looks like I'll be sending more Pop 'N Cut cards next year as well!

Wishing all of you a happy and healthy 2016.

Zentangle Tile and Pop-Up Christmas Card

Good morning friends

I still have a few more Christmas cards to share ... but come the New Year there will be some non-holiday cards including  cards using Karen Burniston's new CHA release!

First up today, is my Zentangle tile #3.

Next is a Pop-Up holiday card using those pre-cut Pop-N Cut bases I've been using up.

The front embellishment is a glossy sticker, attached to a die cut label from my 'odds & sods' pile.

Inside, I attached a tag to the pop-up platform and word sticker for the verse.

The tag had a gold foiled border sticker adhered to the bottom edge and Bakers Twine through the top.

Supplies:
Patterned paper - Momenta
Bakers Twine
Stickers - stash
Gold foiled border sticker - K & Company
A2 Pop 'N Cut with Wavy Label insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)

Christmas Ornament Pop-Up Cards

Good morning friends

I have another pair of Pop-Up cards to share today, using older Karen Burniston dies.

I added Bakers Twine to ornament embellishments from my stash, as well as a cream stitched oval to both card fronts. The ornaments have gold foiled bits on them.

The interior of both cards are the same ... I had a duplicate set of the glossy glittered stickers. Ha - I'm such a hoarder collector.

It was hard to photograph the shine and glitter inside - these look way better in real life.

To more cards from my "In Progress" bin completed and off in the mail, and I almost finished off the sticker sheets too.

Supplies:
A2 Pop 'n Cut Base with Wavy Label Insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Cream card stock
Patterned paper - Momenta
Clear plastic stickers - stash
Stitched Oval - My Favorite Things
Ornament embellishments - stash
Bakers Twine

Gingerbread Pop-Up Card Duo

Good morning friends

I have a pair of Pop-Up cards today, using up more of my pre-cut Pop 'n Cut card bases and embellishments from my stash.

The candy canes on the front are all glittery and I love the 'oh what fun' stamp.

Inside I added an embellishment from my stash (a train for one and a doll for the second) onto the pop-up platform, some stitched border edges top and bottom, and a stamped greeting.

Even though I'm using older papers and dies, and using things up from my stash - the response to these cards has even really good. Just goes to show you - everyone loves a Pop-Up card.

Supplies:
A2 Pop 'n Cut base with Wavy Label Insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Cream card stock
Patterned paper Momenta
Embellishments - K & Company
Stitched oval - My Favorite Things
