Circuit Cut Wedding Card

Good morning friends

It's Throwback Thursday here on my blog and I have a pair of older cards to share today ... MUCH older.

The accent was cut with my Cricut and the Paper Lace cartridge, then the whole piece was embossed with clear powder. I adhered the flat gems with my iRock tool.

It never takes twice as long to make a second card while you have all the supplies out, so I made a second one. I think that second one is still in my stash, but the first one was given to a Bride and Groom.

Thanks for stopping by today

Sparkly Butterfly Card

My company has gone home, and I didn't get dressed until almost 1pm today.  :-)  I'm usually up and dressed and ready to start my day quite early as I'm a morning person. Today? After last night's birthday party and so much company - not so much. In fact, if I were moving any slower today I'd be going backwards!

But, I got into the studio to get my Dynamic Duo's Guest Designer card ready to post on Saturday. That makes me happy.

I have an older card to share today - a sparkly butterfly card:

This is an A2, topfold card and the butterfly was Cricut cut from the Paper Lace cartridge.

The background paper has some sparkle to it, and I added some bling to the butterfly. The butterfly was popped up with foam tape just in the center so I could gently fold the wings up. This is a perfect birthday card to hand deliver rather than pop in the mail. The birthday stamp is from Stampin' Up.

Embrace Life ATC

This is an ATC that I sent to Sue with one of our mailings to each other. I wanted to use the Paper Lace cartridge as she had just purchased it. It's always fun to see ideas using something you already have.

I don't keep track of supplies when doing ATC's, so other than the Cricut cut I don't have any other details to post.

Plus, I'm on the run today - lots to do so am keeping this short and sweet.

Thanks for stopping by!

TBBM 3-d Box Challenge

The challenge this week at Bitten By The Bug 2 is to use an older cart - Tags Bags Boxes & More - and create a 3D box.

That was one of my first cartridges, and I was quite shocked when I heard it was being retired. It is SO handy! This is what I came up with ...

I cut a this cute purse as large as I could on a 12x12" cutting mat, and also a large tag from the cartridge. I folded it up and made a little 'gift card' or 'cash' holder that will tuck inside the purse.

The flowers were cut from the Paper Lace cartridge out of black card stock and glued onto the purse after assembly.

I thought that the front flap needed 'something', so I glued a strip of black card stock to the inside, then hand trimmed around the curves leaving a narrow border.

A quick and easy gift set to put together. Thanks for stopping by today!
