Friendship Wheel Card

Good morning friends

It's Throwback Thursday here on my blog, and I have a Wheel card to share today that I made almost as soon as I got the die.

I really haven't played with this one enough ... more ideas than time but that is not a complaint!

I added some fun hand lettering that changes as you turn the wheel.

On a personal note, I had my consult with the oral surgeon yesterday. Once he was done the examination I asked if he could do the extraction right away instead of waiting to get another appointment. He agreed so I now have one less bottom molar and hopefully the abscess will be gone for good.

A couple of days of pain & swelling and a week of antibiotics and I can move on with getting my RA into remission. Thankfully I have a couple of days of blog posts scheduled and ready to go.

Friendship Wheel Card

Good morning friends

Last summer, when the Sizzix Card In A Box die was finally available for purchase - I also added the Wheel Card die to my on-line shopping cart. It took awhile to get some time to play with it - this is actually the second card I made. I'll show the first one another day.

I figured out how to add the Wheel Card to a folded card - the die itself creates a card that doesn't open as traditional cards do. I stamped various words that show through the top circle opening, and the others are revealed as the wheel is turned.   'Wishing you sunshine' ...

... I'll be your umbrella ...

... cheer up, buttercup ...

... You make me happy when skies are grey ...

Finally, here is a peek inside the card. Since all the friendship words are on the front of the card, the inside is where I will pen a note when I go to send the card.
