This is my last 'sneak peek', as CHA is over today and you can have your local retailer contact Elizabeth Craft Designs to order in Karen Burniston's Pop it Ups dies. Remember these are wafer thin dies - easy to ship and easy to store. Win Win Win. :-)
I cut the two white labels using Decorator Dies (that come with the Fancy Accordion) and a hand cut banner. The banner was threaded through the larger label (after I stamped it with the woodgrain background) by cutting two slots in it using the slot dies that come with the Lucy Label Pop it Ups. Karen Burniston thought of everything, and I love how the dies all work together.
I added a strip of red patterned paper inside the card, which shows through when the card is closed. Inside is that AWESOME Garden Bench.
I cut only the bench a 2nd time from white woodgrain paper, trimmed it down, added adhesive and slipped it over the popped up one. The paper panels were cut slightly longer and trimmed to fit around the bench. I stamped & fussy cut two more of those cute birds, coloured them with Copics and attached them to the top of the bench. I know I saw these birds used in a similar way, probably on Pinterest. They add such a nice pop of colour!
The grass is one of the Decorator Dies that comes with the Garden Bench ... I cut it 5 times, then layered them across that red patterned strip. Such a fun little die!
I loved the printed hills and trees on this paper, and thought it matched the verse really well.
This was a really FUN card to make! I love the bench with all the pretty details, and have lots of ideas for it. It's just too bad that things like chores and errands are cutting into my playtime! ;-)
The dies will be ready to ship to retailers right after CHA, so if you are interested in purchasing them be sure to contact your local shop and have them place their pre-orders! They will also be shipping to Canada and overseas, so don't think that these are only available in the US.
Here is the packaging for the Garden Bench, which shows the 3 dies (bench, grass and snow/dirt mound) ...

For today's share I wanted a fun birthday card using the new Garden Bench Pop it Ups die. I cut the A6 sized card (4.5 x 6") from green card stock using a Sizzix ornate card die.
I added a strip of red patterned paper inside the card, which shows through when the card is closed. Inside is that AWESOME Garden Bench.

WOW, Karen that is totally awesome! I love everything about this card, the colors, the way you cut the Agatha Edges at the top of the card, the grass with the sentiment tucked under.....shall I go on? I think I want to come & sit on the bench with those cutie red birds of yours.
