Good morning friends!
Our Granddaughter turned 3 this month, and I had promised her a Princess card. She loves anything pink and girlie, so I had lots of fun creating this for her.
The images were stamped onto white card stock, then I added double sided adhesive over that and removed the remaining liner sheet. I poured on the Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polished it in with my fingers. This brings up the shine and ensures that no glitter rubs off. Afterwards, I coloured the images in with Tombow markers and let them dry overnight. Once the images were fussy cut, I was ready to start assembling the card.
I actually printed the words onto white card stock using my computer, then die cut them out with this pretty label shape by Paper Smooches.
Here is the inside, complete with a castle, princess and another unicorn. All sparkly and perfect for our little princess! The clouds were cut using the White Velvet Self-Adhesive Sheets - one of my favourite uses for the white.
Olivia loved her card, and popped it right into her new purse so she could keep it with her.

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the inside castle! I'm partial to castles; I live in one! (I even have a drawbridge and moat!)
ReplyDeleteMary! So cool that you live in a real castle. This stamp is by The Alley Way Stamps - I had to have it as soon as I saw in, with our Granddaughter knowing she's a Princess and all. ;-)
