Sparkling Ring Accordion Card

Good morning friends!

One of the new dies in the Spring 2014 Pop it Ups release is the Ring Accordion album, and it is so much fun to use. The Circle Peel-Off's work perfectly on it, and the pretty scalloped border comes with the die set!

This next photo gives you an idea how sparkly and pretty this card is … I added the Peel off to card stock backed double sided adhesive, sprinkled it with Silk Microfine Glitter and polished the glitter in with my fingers. Then I added colour with Tombow markers and the Tombow blender pen. I let the coloured Peel-Off dry overnight, then fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam tape.

Here is a peek at the Ring Accordion open …

I made my own red glitter paper to cut the scalloped border from, by adding the True Red Silk Microfine Glitter to card stock backed double sided adhesive and die cutting the border from that. To add even more seasonal sparkle, I added a glitter dot to the spot where each scallop joins the border.

The Merry Christmas and the berries were cut from the same red glittered card stock. The holly die is on the Tag die set.

This is the view from the top …

… and the back …

I just love how this turned out!
