Good morning friends!
Today for Masculine Card Monday, I have a card using the new 'Clock and Gears' set by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
While this die set works wonderfully for Steampunk (just look what Shelly Hickox does with it!!) it can also be used for a juvenile or masculine card simply by swapping out the papers and colours used!
For the inside, I used the new Lorna Label Pop Up (yes, again) added more gears with brads through the centers. I love all the 'real estate' you get for decorating, with the Lorna Label die set.
The Happy Birthday was cut with one of the new Word Stand Up Helpers by Elizabeth Craft Designs. I simply trimmed the bottom edge along the score line and I love how it fits on the little step that cuts with the Lorna Label.
Jus for fun, I cut one of the new Star Frame Edges that work with the Katie Label Accordion. The yellow paper is double sided, with light blue on the reverse side. So the little stars that fall out of the border were re-attached to their openings, only I flipped them round so the blue side was showing and used tiny bits of foam tape. I cut another frame from red, so I could have two red stars.
This card is going to my parents, as they will need a card for our son's birthday next month.
