Vintage Quill Pop 'n Cut Card

Good morning friends!

Occasionally I go through my 'odds and sods' pile, and try to use the embellishments and things that are in there. Today's card features one of those embellishments - a Cricut cut vintage quill pen.  This card is a 4.5 x 6" card.

I inked the edges of of almost everything ... I like how the patterned paper has a vintage feel too.

The base card was cut with a Sizzix scalloped card die, and I used Karen Burniston's Pop 'n Cut with the Circle Label insert for the inside and the same patterned paper as on the front of the card.

The hand/quill was cut from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge, and I added a pretty brad as a 'cuff link'.

I added a slot punched shape to the die cut butterfly to give it a little 'somethin' somethin', and the card was finished.  A message can be penned on the lightly patterned paper at the bottom of the card.

Into 'the stash' with this one ... it will work for a 'thinking of you', 'get well soon', or 'birthday' card.

(Remember that you can always see my Sizzix Flip-it, Pop N Cut and Accordion Flip cards by looking on the right side of my blog under LABELS then scrolling down to the 'S' section.)
