Good morning friends
I have another Gift Card Accordion to share today, but this time I am using it as a regular accordion card.
Yesterday's Gift Card Accordion used the little rectangle die as a base to write the words Gift Card on - today shows it cut from the PanPastel coloured background rectangle. This allows the background colour through the window, and for a spooky feel I added eyes from Chilly the Penguin and Lucky the Bunny Characters.
The Flourished Frame is gorgeous - it cuts in once piece and easily lines up with the accordion's outer edges. I cut mine from glitter patterned paper which adds a lot to the look as it catches the light. I also used an ECD Transfer sheet and the negative image of pumpkin Peel-Off's for the card.
The Celebrate die comes with the Flourished Frame, as do stacked rectangle dies. The largest one is pretty much the size of the inner rectangle, leaving just a tiny mat. But it covers up the notches for the gift card, so your Gift Card Accordion can do double duty!
I wrote on the back of the card with a gel pen, which showed up great on the black background.

ReplyDeleteHello from elma
Love how you used the negative peel offs on this card
ReplyDeleteJust purchased these dies. Thank you for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got these dies, Marlene - you will have fun with them! They are good for so much more than Gift Card Holders, but they sure do make a nice Gift Card Holder too! :-)
