C4C307 Costume Fun

Good morning friends:

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Jessie Rone is our Hostess for October, with Tangii Crain as our Guest Designer. Jessie's Challenge is: Costume fun - images of kids, animals, anyone in costume!!

Here is the front of my card - I thought the patterned paper of masked and caped critters was perfect for the challenge.

The patterned card stock I used for my card base was a little stiff though, so I tried spraying the centre score line with water before folding it in half. It still cracked. So to save the card, I applied Scotch Tape across the fold.

I used an older Sizzix Pop 'n Cut die for this Pop-Up card, also by Karen Burniston. I loved the Pop 'n Cuts, and still enjoy getting them out for card making.

The Pirate sticker was adhered to white card stock before fussy cutting out.  Here is a side view so you can see the Pop-Up portion a little better.  This will be our Grandson Ethan's Halloween card.

Check out the C4C Blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C307.
