Good morning friends
I told you Karen Burniston's new Pop it Ups collection has fun new dies, and I have a card to share today using several of them.
First off - how fun are these waves? This edge die comes in the new Beach Edges set. I'm a Prairie Girl and even I'm loving the beachy themed dies in this new release through Elizabeth Craft Designs.
The little duck comes with the Bathtub Pop Stand die, and the smallest black Glitter Dots work perfectly for his eyes.
The speech balloon die comes with the Lorna Label Pop Up, which is an older Pop it Ups die. I die cut two from the cream panel, inked the edges, added the lettering, then popped them back up over the openings with foam tape.
Inside, I created a little bathroom scene:
Buster the Dog is one of the new Characters, and I've popped him in the Bathtub along with the same waves as on the front of the card. Buster must be having lots of fun playing with his ball in the tub as he's creating lots of waves. Grin.
The Bathtub is one of the new Pop Stands, but here I'm using it with the Lorna Label Pop Up. The tub portion was cut from a lovely pearlized card stock, while the faucet and claw feet were cut from bronze metallic card stock.
Just for fun, I framed another one of the little ducks in the postage frame that comes with the new Rectangle Pull Card, adding a scrap of transparency as the glass in the picture frame.
Buster has Glossy Accents on his nose, and black Glitter Dots for eyes. I actually had to order more black Glitter Dots, I've been using so many of them. Love those things!
The bathmat was cut with one of the new Paris Edge dies. It is going to be a very versatile die - as you can probably tell. Buster's Ball comes from the new Props 4 set, which is for pets.
This card is another one that went to CHA as a Booth Sample. It's such an honour to be able to create cards for a Booth Sample - and I hope I was able to inspire retailers and give them some more ideas on how these wonderful Pop it Ups dies can be used.
