Good morning friends
It's Saturday, and that means a new challenge at the Crazy4Challenges blog. This week Peggy would like us to create a card with Opposites on it, to celebrate National Opposites day. For some reason I really struggled with this one, but finally decided to use Karen Burniston's Accordion Circle - circles and squares are opposites, right? (I know - lame, but I'm sticking with it).
I made a 3 page Accordion which features Buster the Dog - one of Karen Burniston's cute new Character dies through Elizabeth Craft Designs. I added a nose from Honey the Bear to change up Buster's look a little.
I adhered black card stock to the Elizabeth Craft Designs transparent adhesive sheets, then die cut the polka dot frame edges. Note, I kept all the little black confetti that falls out to use as Character eyes. They already have the adhesive on the back!
The words were done on the computer, and Buster is attached to the centre panel with an Action Wobble. So he bobs and wobbles around - so fun! I used the new Beach Edges to create the little mound that Buster is sitting on, embossing it with the bark embossing folder.
I adore the shape of these hearts ... that die comes with the Spiral Circle Pull Card, and I added some glossy accents to give them sone shine. Those adorable dog bones are in Karen Burniston's new Props 4 set - Pets.
Here is the back of the Accordion ...
This is one of the show samples I made for CHA!
Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C270.

You have also got mountain and valley folds on this ... that's opposite too. So you created the perfect card for this challenge :)
ReplyDeletewonderful card!

Why struggle? You could just say that your "opposite" was to do the opposite of using opposites! ha ha. LOVE this card. It looked so good in the CHA booth.
