Butterfly Pivot Card

Good morning friends!

I had a 12 x 12" sheet of this pretty butterfly paper, and managed to make three different cards with it. Yesterday's card was a Stand-Up card and today's is a Butterfly Pivot card.  (Tomorrow's card is something different as well.)

I wanted something summery to send to a friend, and I loved the cheerful colours in the patterned paper. The butterfly silhouette was cut from the same coppery card stock as I used on yesterday's card, and I cut the wings from vellum. The butterfly body was cut from a piece of black velvet adhesive paper, so there is lots of visual interest going on on these butterflies!

Here is the what the card looks like on the inside - the butterflies pivot from the front and back to the inside when the card is opened.  Remember with Pop it Ups dies, YOU get to choose the size of your card AND where along the fold you want your animation to be.

Finally, a look at the card from the back and from the top ...
