Butterfly Birthday Pull Card

Good morning friends!

I made a birthday card for a friend, using the new Spiral Circle Pull Card die by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. One of the features (that I love) is that this die cuts notches that help the card stay in the closed position until the recipient pulls the sides and reveals the surprise inside.

Another feature of the Pop it Ups dies, is that YOU get to decide on the size of your card and where on the fold you place your animation.  The Pop it Ups collection dies all work together, so I pulled out the Butterfly Pivot  & Butterfly Accessory die sets to decorate this card.

I added the black Peel Off border down the right edge, punctuated with black Glitter Dots.  I also added the same Glitter Dots randomly on the black spiral inside the card, to help catch the light and add some sparkle. I also outlined the patterned paper in all the areas with a sparkly gel pen.

Because the patterned paper is so busy, I decided to add a label on the back side to add a penned note and signature.  I added a little butterfly to carry the theme through.  :-)

The Stitched Label comes from the Katie Label Pivot - another one of the newest Pop it Up dies by Karen Burniston that will be shipping this month from Elizabeth Craft Designs!

I have been having SO much fun with this Spiral Circle Pull Die … and by the looks of the Designer Challenge this month, the rest of the Design Team is as well. I think everyone needs this die in their supply, because of the versatility. It's a step up from simple 'Flip Cards' but just as easy to make.
