Butterfly Flip-It Birthday Card

Yesterday was my Dad's birthday, and today is my Mom's.  I made her a Flip-it Birthday card too!

I know, this one is super embellished ...some days are like that.  The K&Co chipboard butterflies were just calling to be used on this card and who am I to argue with a chipboard butterfly?   ;-)  To work around that narrow edge on the left side of the rectangle Flip-It, I die cut a scalloped border (PTI) and glued it along the edge. The swirly die on the right side is also PTI - it's just SO pretty!

The Sizzix Framelits 'Banners #2' die/stamp set came in handy again for this card - honestly, I hardly ever even put that set away. It lives on my stamping table because I use it so often.

The little label was punched (Stampin' Up) out of white card stock & attached so we had somewhere to write our message.  It's hidden when the card is closed.

(Remember you that you can always see my Sizzix Flip-it and Pop N Cut cards by looking on the right side of my blog under LABELS then scrolling down to the 'S' section.)

Thanks for stopping by today!
