Good morning friends
With our recent dump of snow, our vehicles had snow on their tires when they came into the garage. Which melted. Not good for all the boxes that were still in the garage waiting for me to unpack them. We managed to salvage almost everything, just a few things were too soggy to be kept. But my craft room is now overrun with boxes and things to unpack and put away. It will take me most of this week to get things organized (and purged). But the good news, is that I found the last of my Sizzix dies and Framelits and all my embossing folders!
Most of the boxes have been taken downstairs and stacked - away from melting snow. I'm going to ignore them until I get my craft room organized again, but eventually I'm going to have to got down there and get them unpacked too. And do more purging. This moving is not for the faint of heart!
Today's share is a Christmas card. The following photo shows the standard A2 card ready to go in the envelope ...
But when the recipient opens the envelope, it's a Stand Up card with a little snowflake shaped notch to hold it open.
I used the Stand Up Helpers 2 die set for the snowflake, and this exquisite holly border die. There are obvious spots to add Glitter Dots if you desire - both on the stocking overlay and the holly border. So I added Glitter Dots! You know how much I love those Glitter Dots.
Supplies:
932 Stocking Solid, Elizabeth Craft Designs
931 Overlay set 1 (Overlay and cuff), Elizabeth Craft Designs
925 Holly Border, Elizabeth Craft Designs
Stand Up Helpers 2 (Snowflake), Elizabeth Craft Designs
7018 Glitter Dots in Red, Elizabeth Craft Designs
Patterned paper - My Minds Eye
Word Stamp - Hero Arts
