Karen Burniston's November Designer Challenge - Third Card

Good morning friends.

Today is the day that Karen Burniston has her post on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog ... make sure and check it out later this morning.

The challenge for the November 2014 Designer Challenge was to create an all red, all blue or all white card.  I did one of each - today's share is my all white card.  (The other's were posted yesterday and the day before.)

Whenever I want to make a WOW card but don't have a lot of time, I turn to the Pop it Ups Pivot dies. This card uses the Evergreen Pivot, the Outdoor Edges, textured white card stock, an embossing folder, Glitter Dots a Peel-Off sentiment and glitter glue. That's it!

I cut the snowy hills using the Outdoor Edges from the pieces leftover when I cut the card base.  The layered evergreens come with the Evergreen Pivot die set ... I used an embossing folder for some additional texture then squirted on the glitter glue.  All the glitter glue on this card was smeared with my finger and then the pieces were left to dry.  I love how they curled and lifted a bit as they dried.

Here is a peek at the inside ... The evergreens pivot to the inside as the card is opened.

Instead of adding die cut snowflakes, I simply added some glitter dots randomly around the 'sky' area of the card.  I applied a silver Season's Greetings Peel-Off and the card was done.  I think you could easily make multiples of this design, if you were looking to WOW people over the holidays.

Remember to check the out Karen Burniston's post today on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog!
