Steampunk Birthday Diorama

Good morning friends

Today's share is another project I sent to Els for the Collins show this Spring. I wanted to use the (coming soon) Steampunk charms in a different way so chose a diorama. Below is the card flat, just out of the envelope.

The charms hang from the centre panel with Baker's Twine and jump rings.

This card looks complicated, but is simply a matter of scoring the backing piece to give you the side panels. The Fitted Frames Circles dies and the Circle Accordion make easy work of the rest. The card folds completely flat for mailing, then stands on it's own for display.

Supplies:
Through the Lens, Stone - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Circle Accordion, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Fitted Frames, Circles - Stone - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Jump Rings
Steampunk Stamps, Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Soft Finish Card Stock, 85#Stone - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Steampunk Charms, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Adhesive 1/4" width
Hardware 1 - Hinges - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Glitter Dots - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Sharpie

Thanks for stopping by today

  1. always a bonus when we discover we can create another style of card from a die set we have. Love it!
