C4C 335

Good morning friends

It's Saturday, and that means there is a new challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Our May Hostess is Barbara Anders and Wanda Cullen will joining us as our Guest designer this month.

Here is Barbara's challenge this week: "May is my birth month and the gemstone is emerald. Your challenge this week is to use emerald green on your card or project."

I've been having fun with the Lawn Fawn Cactus set, and since it was still sitting on my stamping table I decided to use it for my challenge card.  I also used the Oval Pull Card, the newest of the Pull Card series by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. The notch holds the card in the closed position until the recipient pulls the sides to reveal the inside. I used a couple of Els border dies to the card and additional colour with markers.

Here is a peek at the inside. I added some pen work and handwriting along with the Hug die.

Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C335.
