Karen Burniston's July 2015 Designer Challenge ... Red and Kraft

Good morning friends

Today's share is my third card for Karen Burniston's July Designer Challenge:  "Homegrown Holidays - here's your chance to celebrate Christmas (or other winter holiday) on the farm. Create a holiday card with a country feel, using any Pop it Ups dies including (but not limited to) the brand new Farm 2 and Merry & Bright."

Once again I went with red and Kraft. I thought it would be fun to add the Barbed Wire (from the new Western Edges), and the Outdoor Edges as well. Here is the front of the card:

I LOVE the detail on this barbed wire!

Inside I used the new Merry Christmas Pop-Up. Oh, this die is going to get a lot of use this year for the holidays.

Here is the side view so you can see the Pop-Up a little better.

To make the red Merry Christmas pop more on the gingham shadow, I outlined them with a fine point black marker. I also added chunky  glitter glue to the hearts & trees and used the new Merry & Bright clear stamps for the greetings.

Karen Burniston will have her post on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog later this morning, so be sure to check it out!!
