Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge Card #2

Good morning friends.

I have a second card to share for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge for October 2014 - 'Make it Manly'.

I used some fabric wash tape, Bakers Twine and a strip of sparkly paper for the front of my pop up card.

Here is a peek at the inside - I've been wanting to play with the brand new Puppy Peel-Offs at Elizabeth Craft Designs, and now that my markers have been unpacked I decided to start my card with a puppy embellishment.  This card is more for a BOY than a MAN, but it still counts - right?

I cut a double Lorna Label, but didn't line it up properly so ended up with this extra fold. It took some creative scoring to get it to open right, but in the end I was happy with it and decided to use it rather than cut another one (properly).

The script words come from the Happy Birthday Pop Up die - another new Pop it Ups by Karen Burniston. The black is velvet adhesive - love the way it looks in real life.

This cute water coloured puppy is sporting a sparkling party hat and holding a party blower - all from Karen Burniston's new Props 2 die set which is birthday themed. (Happy Dance)

Tomorrow Karen Burniston will have her post on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog - make sure to check that out!!
