Good morning friends!
Today is Thursday, and the day that Karen Burniston does the blog post at Sizzix. The day when she reveals her Pop 'n Cut project, and shares what all the other designers did. Check it out HERE and ENJOY!!
I have another Pop 'n Cut card to share today ... this is the 6th card I've made using the Bella Road 12x12" scrapbook kit "Wintertine". I used almost a whole sheet for this one ... the left side of the paper for the outside of the card, and the right side for the inside. I used the A2 Pop 'n Cut base with the included Circle Label insert.
This card was so fast to put together it's almost embarrassing. I added a stamped red banner and a snowflake from my stash and the front was done ... that cute snowman was part of the design on the paper!
For the inside, I trimmed off 1/2" from the top and bottom edge, attached the inside to the outside and added a patterned paper strip at the top and bottom. The corners were rounded with scissors following the curve on the card outside, and I added a border sticker from the kit.
There was a snowman sticker in the kit that matched the one on the front of the card, so I attached that to the circle label and brushed baby powder on the upper part that I didn't want to remain sticky.
A few more snowflakes from my stash, a stamped greeting and ... done.
Supplies used:
A2 Pop 'n Cut base with included Circle Label - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Red banner - Martha Stewart
Stamp on the card front - Papertrey Ink
Snowflakes - from my stash
Words - Hero Arts?
Patterned paper and stickers - Wintertime, Bella Road

ReplyDeleteThis is simply adorable, Karen!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the perfect paper doing most of the work! But why redo something that's been done so well? That's what's awesome about patterned paper with Pop 'n Cuts, which you always show so well!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love the paper & that adorable snowman with his scarf.
