'ONE IN A MILLION' Pop 'n Cut Birthday Card

Good morning friends!  Now that November has rolled around I really should be working on Christmas cards and tags. But I just had to share another Pop 'n Cut birthday card I made this week using items from Karen Burinston's Sizzix Snippets Collection. I'm just loving the dies AND the embossing folders!

The card was cut using the Pop 'n Cut A2 base with the new Sassy Label insert.  For the front I embossed a piece of white card stock with the Sassy Label embossing folder and used a paper trimmer to cut strips from the embossed piece for borders. Then I fussy cut around the edge of the label and inked all the edges.

I die cut a border (from the Gift Card Framelit set) from the teal/brown patterned paper, then cut it into thirds. Two of the pieces were attached to the Sassy Label for the front of the card and the third was attached inside.

I added one of Karen Burniston's Sassy Label and Stitched Frames to the insert, stamped the words on a strip of paper and notched the ends. I inked the edges of pretty much everything - I LOOOOOVE Stampin' Up's Tangerine Tango ink colour.

Finally I cut a white label and the circle border, inked the edges and stamped the words. The colours in this paper stack are just so warm and cozy!

Another finished birthday card for The Stash.  :-)

  4. Oh how pretty this card is! I can save you some fussy cutting on that embossed label - the Framelits set will also cut that label out perfectly. I love how you combined all the elements.
