Paris Pop-Up Birthday Card

Good morning friends

Last year I made a Paris themed birthday card for my friend J, as they had recently visited Paris. I decided to continue with the theme this year as well.

Here is the front of the card. Since the pretty patterned paper has glittery bits, I decided to cut a glittery label as well. I die cut the heart from the centre of the black label, then added pink colour to the champagne glitter paper underneath it with a Copic marker.  The hot air balloon was fussy cut and I added a pretty pink seam binding bow.

Inside is a Pop-Up, made using the Lorna Label Pop-Up by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Another of my recent ECD purchases are Els border dies and I added one of them here to the top and bottom edges, cut from glitter paper. The inside edge of the borders were traced with a black marker to define them a little more.

The bands on the Eiffel tower were cut from the same glitter paper and the bottom edges were coloured with a pink Copic marker. The black label has a window cut from it, and it's popped up with foam tape. The words are a Peel-Off sticker from ECD.

Here is a side view so you can see the Pop-Up portion a little better.

This was such a fun card to make!
