Baker Goes To The Beach

Good morning friends

This card was SO MUCH FUN to make. I used a whole bunch of Pop it Ups dies by Karen Burniston, including a few new ones that were released last weekend at CHA. The new 'Baker the Beaver' is going to be a favourite character for sure.

I used the Soft Finish card stock from Elizabeth Craft Designs for the card and most of the embellishments, adding colour with PanPastels. Rocky the Crab (who makes me smile every time I see him) is inviting Baker the Beaver to hang out with him.

The notch holds the card closed until it is pulled open, then Baker - in his snorkelling gear - slides across to the centre of the card. The slider tab is the optional die that comes with the new Oval Pull Card, as is the sun. I also added the Palm tree and Pail to the little scene and created the waves from the Outdoor Edges set.

Honestly - how CUTE is Baker the Beaver???
