Good morning friends
It's Saturday and so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Our September 2016 hostess is Raquel Mason and our Guest Designer is Fran Sabad (Stampers Blog)
Here is Raquel's Challenge: Let’s make this really easy or it could be hard. Put any 10 things on your card, it can be buttons, brads, die cuts, layers of card stock, flowers, rhinestones etc. The items could also be a stamped image that has 10 things on it.
Such a fun challenge, and it could be interpreted several ways! I made a Flower Pot Pop Stand Birthday Card for our eldest daughter using older papers from my stash. There was a snippet left over, so I punched the top to create a bookmark and will include it in the envelope for her.
I did some hand lettering, then added a couple of die cut flowers and leaf from the Flower Pot Pop Stand to give the front a little dimension.
The card folds completely flat for mailing, but look at what happens as you open the card ...
Ta Daaa ... I swear this never gets old. It is this completely 3 dimensional flower pot filled with cute embellishments. What a great way to celebrate any occasion!
I photographed several different views so you can see the dimension.
I went with using 10 different items on my card, and they are listed below ...
1 - Patterned paper
2 - Bling
3 - Hand lettering
4 - Stamping
5 - Die cut leaves
6 - Die cut flowers
7 - Die cut banner
8 - Pop Stand Flower Pot
9 - Bee embellishment
10 - Die cut, layered butterfly
Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C353.

ReplyDeleteI love your card!!! can you tell me where you got the big flower on the front with the lines in it,it has a peach center and dots on the ends of the stamen, its georgeous!!! thank you ...jeanmheming@aol.com
ReplyDeleteHi Jean ... those beautiful flowers were actually printed on the patterned paper, and I simply embellished a little more with the flowers from the Flower Pot Pop Stand. I think Memory Box might have a poppy die that would be similar. I know I saw it somewhere, ha ha ... but there are so many companies out there making dies I am not positive. Hope that helps.
