Karen Burniston's June Designer Challenge "What's In A Name?"

Good morning friends

Today's share is the first card I have for Karen Burniston's June 2015 Designer Challenge. Here is Karen's challenge:  Everyone has to incorporate two Pop it Ups dies according to your first and last initials.
Oh, this was a fun challenge!!

Just sayin' Hay! ... I made a triple-panel pivot card, and this is the front panel. I knew I wanted to use Karen Burniston's new Barn Pop Stand, but since I couldn't make it work for my initials, I used the barn on the front panel instead. Below the barn doors are in the closed position...

... and here they are open. Don't you love that the doors can open and close? So FUN! I used the foliage/cloud from All Season's Tree as an area to stamp the 'just saying' Hay!' which is one of Karen Burniston's new clear stamps (Farm Greetings).

Happy Birthday to You ... Here is a look at the card when you open that first panel. I used the Katie Label Pivot for my first initial and the All Season's Tree for my second.

Go Hog Wild ... Finally, here is the card opened all the way. Those Farm Greetings stamps were perfect to use for this fun birthday card, which will be for our eldest daughter. She loves anything farm related. The MISTI allowed for easy peasy selective stamping.

Several other dies were used as well, since the Pop it Ups all work so well together. I used the grass clump from the Garden Bench, and the Beach Edges sand to create the little hills.

Oh, and Virgil the Pig's detail layer was cut from ECD's pink velvet adhesive sheets. So he's fuzzy to boot!

Just to be sure there was nothing that would wear away at the pivot points, I did hand trim the hills a little in those areas.

Check back tomorrow to see the second card I made using Pop it Ups dies for my Initials. The whole Designer Challenge Team is on the right of my blog, so be sure to see all the fun creations they came up with as well!
