C4C276 Gift Card Holder

Good morning friends

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at the Crazy4Challenges Blog.  Since it's a new month, we also have a new hostess.  Our hostess for March is Anja de Regt, and her Guest Designer is Andrea Murdock (My Stamping Heaven)

This week Anja challenged us to "Put a Bow On".

I had ordered the new Bow Builder Punch from Stampin' Up last month, but it ended up on back order so I couldn't use it to make the card I had planned on. Instead, I'm sharing a Gift Card holder I made for our middle daughter and hubby's recent anniversary.

I used a Sizzix tri-fold die for the Gift Card Holder, but I usually trim a little of the bottom front edge. On this one I also added a border scrap from the same paper stack and some Washi Tape before rounding the corners with a punch.

The jar was fussy cut, and I added the one remaining frog sticker from the sheet. (I used the others to make SCPC Valentine's for the Grandkids).  I tied orange seam binding around the jar before popping it up with foam tape.

Here is a look at the inside, with the turned up 'pocket'. I added the same Washi Tape here, and stamped the words above the pocket.

Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge.  We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C276.
