Dynamic Duo's #43

Today's colour challenge at the Dynamic Duo blog feature two of my very favourite colours to work with. I LOVE this combination, and could make card after card after card using it.

While those colours just make me happy, I went with a Sympathy card. How is that for ironic?

That fabulous background stamp is one I picked up last year at the Mesa Rubber Stamp Show - it's by BJ's Rubber Stamps. I inked it up then LIGHTLY spritzed it with water to combine the blue and green inks.

Since I was SO pleased with the card, I made a happier one using the same images but swapping out the sentiment.

If I had time today, I'd be in my studio all day working with these colours. But ... this is it for me, as Real Life is about to cut into my stamping time. :-)

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. so wonderful shineing colours!
    Wish you a nice day

  2. Talk about a versatile card design, when it works so beautifully with both sentiments! Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week, Karen :o)

  3. Gorgeous cards Karen :) Fabulous stamping!

  4. Such a cool background stamp! It looks like water-colour painting. And I agree, those are happy colours. I like the little berries on the bird's branch; great detail.

  5. Wow, so pretty, love that BG you created!! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Dynamic Duos!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I read them all, and appreciate them greatly!
