Happy Chinese New Year Accordion Card

Good morning friends

I wanted to use one of Karen Burniston's new Stage it Stencils, so ended up making a Chinese New Year card for a friend. I chose to make a 2 page  Katie Label Accordion from red card stock, and sponged through the stencil with gold PanPastels. I really like the way this turned out - I know stencils are HOT in the Papercrafting world, but I don't have much experience with them at all.


I cut the numbers, flourishes, celebrate, label AND Jink's shadow from gold metallic card stock.


Here you can see the gold shadow. I had to work at finding the right angle to show this - in real life, it looks more like the photo below this one.
