Two Birthday Cards Made with Bits and Pieces

Good morning friends

I have a couple of Birthday cards to share today, made with bits and pieces from my stamping table. While I already owned a some of the My Favorite Things Blueprints sets, my parents gave me another couple for my birthday. Whenever I get a new die set in my hot little hands, the first thing I do is cut out the pieces - usually from whatever paper or card stock is still on my stamping table from the last project. :-)

The goal with these cards was to put the pieces together to make two reasonably attractive Birthday Cards for donating to Seniors Secret Service.

The second card is actually made with the MFT Stitched Vertical Strips rather than the Blueprints. The label was fussy cut from a sheet of journal cards in the same paper stack and I stamped on the label with my MISTI.

A sparkly butterfly is always a fun addition, don't you think? I like that the stitching on the dies coordinates with the stitching on the patterned paper.

Two cards done and my stamping area cleaned up a bit. Win Win!
