Good morning friends!
Today's share uses the Katie Label Pivot, which is part of the Pop it Ups collection by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I love making Pivot cards. As I said in my Pop it Ups demo at Paper Pastimes - ' you get a whole lot of WOW for not very much effort' since the dies do all the work for you!
I used the Agatha Edges to cut out the lovely borders and scrolls, and added a black Peel-Off border sticker on either inside edge. I love how these are perfectly black, but catch the light when the card is turned.
The label layers were added with patterned paper and white card stock using the decorator dies that come with the Katie Label Pivot set. I stamped the bird and nest on white card stock, water coloured them with Tombow Markers then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
Just to add some more colour to the inside, I cut two 1/4" strips of the same orange patterned paper as I used for the label mats and attached them on either side of the spine.
Finally, here is the card from the back ...

Such a pretty card, love the designer paper and of course I have to agree with your comment about the pivot dies ... Always wow!
ReplyDeleteAnother great card, Karen. I really like the use of the Agatha Edges in the opposite orientation and further in on the paper. That's a great look! Will be trying that for sure.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you did it! What a lovely card, Karen!
