Embossed Sympathy Card

I have a CAS sympathy card to share today.

While it was a quick and easy card to make, I love the soft look to it. I used a pale blue pearlized card stock for the embossing, then outlined the edges with a silver metallic marker.  The words were computer printed onto white card stock, then cut out with a Spellbinders die and threaded onto the blue panel with silver ribbon.

The panel was then popped up onto a heavy white card stock base with foam tape. The ribbon is very 'papery' and with an A2 sized piece of card stock slipped into the envelope between the card front and the envelope front, it will easily go through the mail with regular postage.

This embossing folder is one that I use time and time again - and I'm always pleased with how versatile it can be.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  4. Oh my - isn't this quietly stunning! I love the use of the embossing folder with this shimmery cardstock - such a gentle and serene card. I have to CASE it - as I am in need of a few sympathy cards for workers! Thank you!
