Good morning friends
It's Saturday, and that means a new challenge on the Crazy4Challenges Blog. February's hostess is Peggy McCurry and the Guest Designer is Vicki Dutcher at http://allidoisstamp.blogspot.com
Here is Peggy's Challenge: National Kite Flying Day is coming up on the 8th . The challenge today is to use a kite or a kite shape on your card.
I didn't have any kite images or dies, so instead used a Pinwheel set to make Love Notes for the Grandkids. Joset has a really cute kite die set recently released at Elizabeth Craft Designs and that will soon be added to my collection. Now I can think of all kinds of fun reasons to use a kite!
I went over each of the coloured pinwheels with a Wink of Stella pen for some subtle shimmer and shine.
I used Karen Burniston's cloud embossing folder on the white panel of this first card. The Pinwheels are from the Stamps of Life, back when I was a club member. This is the first time I've used it!
The sweet little 'hello' is from the Rectangle Accordion Pop it Ups die set - that one gets a LOT of use.
Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C322.

Love the pin wheel coloring and against the white it looks fabulous -- great couple of cards
ReplyDeleteI am guessing by now you have a kite die added to your collection, can't wait to see what you do with it. The pinwheel is a great substitute though ... awesome cards.
