C4C298 - Lighthouse

Good morning friends

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog.  Here is Frances' challenge:

The 7th August was National Lighthouse Day, so for our challenge today create a card featuring a lighthouse. If you don't have a lighthouse, think where you would find a lighthouse … near the sea, beach etc and use that for your inspiration.

I made a Centre Step birthday card for my Dad, using Peel-Off's by Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The lighthouse was adhered to the same patterned paper as the sides and bottom of the card, and I added some light colour with Copic markers. I put Glossy Accents on all the window areas, fussy cut the lighthouse then popped it up on the centre panel. It's hard to see in the photo, but the white swirls are raised and almost foam like. Very cool.

Here is a peek at the inside. I stamped the words, added the fish hook Peel-Off and joined it to the word Birthday with a fine point pen. The panel was printed with the fish and shells when I die cut it.

Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C298.

  1. Oh looks like the three of us used the same peel-off stickers for this challenge LOL! Loving your Centre Step card ... and those swirls on that designer paper look like waves hitting up against the lighthouse.
