I used that bright and cheerful paper stack (see HERE for details) and coloured card stock from Stampin' Up. (Love).
I also ordered the coordinating stamp set for the slider dies - and look at that tiny little 'PULL HERE'. Perfect - and just another reason I'm becoming such a huge fan of PTI.
I also made good use out of my Stampin' Up Butterfly die for this card ... and orange Bakers Twine to mimic antennae.
When you pull on the tab, this is what you see!
There is another surprise, as when you pull the tab you also reveal an additional greeting. This one (bring on the HAPPY) is one of my favourites and I use it a lot.
Here is a peek at how the card front looks when the slider is open
Because there is so much going on on the card front, I kept the inside sweet and simple. This large birthday greeting is also a PTI stamp.
Yesterday was going to be my day off. I was going to spend it in my studio and just enjoy some free time, as I had put Jasper in Doggie Daycare. So no running after him, no checking on him to see what he'd gotten himself into, no barking. Did I mention no barking? ;-)
I did make enough time in the studio to get yesterday's card made and posted, but then I really got my butt in gear and got the vacuuming done, floors washed and all the bathrooms cleaned. So it was a very productive day. This morning I get to babysit our Granddaughter. Yay!
Thanks for stopping by today.
fantastic idea to place the butterfly on this point! Love it
