Gingerbread Pop-Up Christmas Card Duo

Good morning friends

I have a pair of Christmas cards to share today, using a bunch of older things in my stash. I'm continuing to USE things UP for my holiday cards this year. The stickers I've had for several years, and the Pop-Up bases were all cut a long time ago.

The Pop-Up is an older Karen Burniston die, and I added a cute Gingerbread cottage onto a label that was then adhered to the Pop-Up platform.

The border has gold foiled bits in it - so pretty.

Supplies:
A2 Pop 'n Cut base with Wavy Label insert - Karen Burniston (Sizzix)
Patterned paper - K & Company
Stickers from my stash
Label die - Stampin' Up
Border stickers - K & Company
Gold Washi Tape
Stamp - Stampin' Up

Floral Sticker Christmas Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

I have had a BUSY week, have been out of the house far more than I've been in it. I am hoping to get some computer and crafting time very soon. Meanwhile, I have a Christmas card to share that I made in the late Fall. I love having my Christmas cards done ahead of time as I just couldn't squeeze any more into my days this time of year.

In my continued quest to USE things UP, this card was inspired by the large floral sticker. The card is 6-1/2  x 5".

I added a few red/gold Glitter Dots for seasonal sparkle.

Inside, I used the Merry Christmas Pop it Ups by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs, as well as another sticker with added Glitter Dots. I love the Merry and Bright Clear stamps, and how perfect they are with the Pop it Ups.

The snowflakes are a border sticker ...

... and here is a side view so you can see the Pop-Up portion a little easier.

Today we have no visitors planned, nor do I plan on leaving the house so I can work on our Christmas Letter and holiday cards. Wish me luck!

C4C315 Merry Christmas Pop-Up

Good morning friends

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog: Frances Byrne is our hostess for the first two weeks of December:

O Christmas Tree,
O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
O Christmas Tree,
O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
In beauty green will always grow
Through summer sun and winter snow.
O Christmas tree,
O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!

Use the lyrics above for the inspiration of your card for the challenge this week. Your card can include a Christmas tree, pine branches of a Christmas tree or even a tree in a summer or winter setting.

Here is the card I made for the challenge ... I used several Pop it Ups dies by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I used a tree & star on the front, for the challenge part.

Inside is a Pop-Up made using the Merry Christmas Pop-It Ups.

I also used the coordinating holiday clear stamps, and a stitched oval.

Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C315.

It's Flip-It Friday here on my Blog and I have a pair of Christmas Flip-Its to share today with pretty gold accents.

If you follow my blog, you will remember the Santa Tent Card I made with the Oval Accordion Die. If not, you can click HERE to see it. The gift and bells stickers were on the same sheet as that Santa.

I added a gold foiled border sticker to the sides and stamped a holiday greeting on the front circle. We will sign our names on the inside circle when we mail the cards this year.

Pop Up Doll and Rocking Horse Holiday Cards

Good morning friends

It's Throwback Thursday on my blog, and I have a couple older Christmas cards to share today. I believe I made these two years ago, but never did get the photos posted. The card bases were cut using a Sizzix scalloped edge die, and the mistletoe was Cricut cut. They were one of the very first things I cut when I got my Cricut and I cut about 10 of them. It's taken awhile to get them all used up!

The plaid patterned paper has glossy strips in the plaid pattern which adds so much to a card.

Inside the first card is a stamped label and a K & Company embellishment. The pop up portion was cut using an older Karen Burniston Pop 'n Cut die.

The only difference in the second card is the rocking horse embellishment instead of the doll.

Hello Rudy Christmas Card

Good morning friends

I have a colourful Christmas card to share today, using a whole bunch of Pop it Ups dies by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I used white and black card stock only, adding colour with PanPastels.

The Hello is by Suzanne Cannon, her 'A Way With Words' calligraphy dies for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I used the Western Edges for the mountains, and the Outdoor Edges for the trees. The Snowflakes come from the All Season's Tree.

Inside Rudy the Reindeer is on the Pop-Up platform, sporting a wreath around his neck. Each of the inner edges are inlaid together ... it wasn't difficult but did require planning.

I added stamping, a tag and an embossed tree to finish off the card.

Below is a side view so you can see my inlaid panels and the Pop-Up portion a little better.

I had so much fun playing with the PanPastels (which were new to me at the time) and making this holiday card.

Glittery Sleigh Pop-Up Card

Good morning friends

Today is December first, which is the start of Christmas for our family. So I have a Christmas card to share!

I love Suzanne Cannon's 'A Way With Words' calligraphy dies - they are just exquisite. I added the Believe to the front of my card (three layers deep) although that is hard to see the depth in the photo. I cut the bottom edge with an Agatha Edge and added the Agatha Edge flourish to the front as well as a snowflake die cut. The trees have sparkle to them for some festive fun.

When you open up the card, I have Honey the Bear disquised as a Santa-Hat-Wearing-Polar Bear. Holding a candy cane, of course. The beauty of the Sleigh Pop-Up Gift Card Holder, is that you can use it as a regular Pop-Up card as well, even though I chose to use it as designed for this card.

For this card, I cut the sleigh from glittery fun foam! the Silver base was attached to a white card stock layer for stability. I love the puffy look the fun foam gives the sleigh.

The brim & pom pom of Honey's hat were cut from sparkly felt for even more texture.

Here is a side view of the card so you can see the Pop-Up a little better.
