HoHoHo Holiday Flip-It Trio

Good morning friends

It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog, and I have three Christmas Flip-It cards to share today. I had the original Circle Flip-it out for a different project, and decided to use it for a couple more cards. It's the BigZ die and I store those differently than the wafer thin ones. So when a BigZ die is out, I like to use it a couple of times before putting it away again.

I picked up two stamp/die sets at Michaels on clearance at the end of the season last year ... this Santa set and a Stag head set. Um ... not impressed with the way they stamp so I'm sure glad I didn't pay full price for them.

Here is the first card ...

The second card has an embossed panel on the right ...

And here is the third card ... all three have the same verse stamped inside.

Into my holiday card stash with these!

Supplies:
Circle Flip-Its (Bigz) - Sizzix
Blue card stock - Papertrey Ink
Red card stock
Owl patterned paper - Adorn-It
Blueprints #23 - My Favorite Things
Circle and scalloped circles - Spellbinders
Embossing folder - Stampin' Up
Copic markers
Santa stamp & die - Hampton Arts
Stickles
Words inside - Verve
Heavy cream card stock - Hobby Lobby

Party Goat Flip-It Card

Good morning friends

It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog and I have a fun birthday card to share today using William the Goat. This card went to Sri Lanka, to a little boy we sponsor through World Vision. The card base was made using a Sizzix Bigz Flip-its die - I still like to get them out to use. They aren't as convenient as the framelits but they still make a great Flip-It card!

I love party hats, so added this Sizzix Triplets party hat die to my collection back in the Spring. Ha, the yellows don't look great in the photos but I promise they do in real life. They match the yellows in the patterned paper and came from the same paper stack. I added William the Goat and he's wearing the party hat from the Props 2; clouds are from the Hot Air Balloon Pop-Up (all by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs).

All in all, a fun festive (belated) Birthday Card.

Supplies:
William the Goat, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Props 2, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Hot Air Balloon (clouds), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)

Glaze Pen - Sakura
Charcoal Stardream
Patterned paper - We R Memory Keepers

C4C291 - Sketch

Good morning friends

It's Saturday, and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Crazy4Challenges blog. Our June hostess is Danielle Lounds and she has a sketch for us this week. Debra Hensley is our Guest Designer for June, which I should have mentioned the first two C4C posts this month. Sorry Debra - we are so happy to have you Guest Designing with us!

I didn't rotate the entire sketch, just the elements of the sketch - and made a Flip-It's Get Well card. I had the little resin lady bug stickers in my stash, and used Glitter Dots instead of sequins.

To cut the large white circle I used Karen Burniston's Clock & Gears Pop it Ups die set, and the small white scalloped circle was cut with the Accordion Circle.

Here is a peek at the inside ...

Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge, and to get the information on our June Guest Designer. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C291.

Supplies:
Circle Flip-Its #4 - Sizzix
Accordion Circle (small scalloped circle), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Clocks & Gears (large circle), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
7018 Glitter Dots - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Black card stock
Patterned paper - Echo Park
Ladybug stickers - Jolee's Boutique
Red marker - Stampin' Up

Robot Love Flip Card

Good morning friends

It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog, and I have a cute Robot Love card to share today. I was looking through my paper stash for something and this patterned paper caught my eye. So I decided to drop everything else and make a card with it.

This Robot stamp is SO cute and I love that you can change up the colours to match whatever you are working with. I coloured this one in with Copic markers.

Here is a look at the flip-side.  I added some punched hearts with foam tape for some dimension.

This card made up really quickly, and I decided to hang onto it for next Valentine's Day. It will be perfect for one of the Grandkids!

Supplies:
Circle Flip-Its - Sizzix
Circle dies - Spellbinders
Patterned paper - K & Company
Robot stamps and words - The AlleyWay Stamps
Red card stock
White card stock
Heart punch - Stampin' Up

Grandkids Cmas Cards

Good morning friends

Today I'm sharing the cards I made for the three Grandkids who celebrate Christmas. (Ilai is too young for a Hanukkah card but he'll get one next year).

Ethan gets a big Flip-It card, with a cheerful Santa sticker. I added Glitter Dots in between Santa's hands...

...and penned the words on the flip side of the circle.

Zachary's card is a flat card, as at 8 months old everything goes into his mouth.  I didn't want any loose parts!

I added one of the sparkly stickers to a stitched label, then glued the decorated label onto a piece of red sparkly snowflake paper. The card base has a debossed edge - I've had those cards for years.

Olivia's is the Bear Flip-It's card, but it will be covered in a different post as I originally photographed it together with a different card.

Supplies
Circle Flip-Its - Stephanie Barnard (Sizzix)
Plastic stickers - Dollar Store
Patterned paper - DCWV
White card stock
Glitter Dots - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Christmas Flip-Its Card Trio

Good morning friends

I have a trio of Flip-It cards to share today, for Flip-It Friday here on my blog.

I actually made these cards last winter, as I like to work on Christmas cards all year long so I have a nice big stack of them when the holidays roll around. The Christmas paper used has foiled bits in it and even though I've used it a fair bit, there is still a LOT of paper left in the stack!

I must confess - my Design Teammate Frances Byrne used this stamp/die set on a card last year, and I HAD to order it. The JOY was the least favourite when I opened the set, but once it was stamped and die cut, I loved it!

The second card has a printed gold snowflake on the front of the circle and a banner on the flip side.

This third card was also made using papers from the same stack. The JOY is stamped and die cut, then popped up on the front.

It's so hard to capture the foiled bits in the paper!

The little labels is where I signed our names when I mailed the cards this year.

Supplies:
Circle Flip-Its - Sizzix (Stephanie Barnard) *Note - I need to use the Sizzix Crease Pad with this die
Bakers Twine
Patterned paper - DCWV
Joy stamp and die - Holiday Joy, Tim Holtz
Christmas Joy word stamp - Stampin' Up
Happy Christmas word stamp - Stampin' Up
Label punch - Stampin' Up

C4C264 Square Dance Day

Good morning friends

It's Saturday, and that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog! Our November Hostess Frances Byrne came up with this:

"Square Dance Day
Apparently today is Square Dance Day, so to celebrate lets get those square cards, dies etc out! Bonus points if you incorporated Dancing somehow on your card as well."

I have a Christmas Flip-It card to share:

Not only is it square, I used a dancing Santa sticker animated with an Action Wobble. He bobs and wobbles around on the card - too much fun. I had to trim the Action Wobble to fit on the Santa, but it still works great.

Here is what is stamped on the reverse side of the circle ...

Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge.  We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and add the link to your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C264.

Supplies:
Circle Flip-It's - Sizzix
Double sided patterned paper - Stampin' Up
Plastic glittered stickers - Dollar Store
Scalloped circle - Spellbinders
White card stock
Word stamp - David Walker
Glitter Dots (green) - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Action Wobble (trimmed)
Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Tape - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Oval punch - Stampin' Up
Card size - 5" square

Leaves Flip-It card

Good morning friends!

Yesterday there were no contractors in the house, and no barking dogs. It was so nice and peaceful! Except for the fact that there were no contractor because they didn't order all the cabinets so he will have to come back when they come in and get that all done. The house may even be listed by then, but I will put a folded card on the counter stating that this company IS coming to fix the mistake. AARRGGHH.

There is good news today though. I get to see the specialist today! After 8 months of getting worse every week, lots of pain and not much mobility, there is hope for learning about recovery today. At any rate, I know I will be under the specialists care now and that is HUGE!

It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog, and today I have a couple of Flip-It Cards that I donated to Seniors Secret Service.

I added the punched label as a place for them to sign, and used a couple of different dies to make the leaves etc.

These plastic leaves I've had in my stash for a couple of years, so I thought it was time to actually USE a couple of them. :-)

Supplies used:
Circle Flip-It - Sizzix (Stephanie Barnard)
Patterned paper - K&Co
Circle dies - Spellbinders
Words & Banners, stamps & dies - Sizzix (Banners 2 die)
Leaf and acorn die - Stampin' Up
Plastic leaf - my stash
Words - Stampin' Up
Custom background stamp (on leaf dies)
