Butterfly Shaped Card & ATC Trio

Hello Friends and Followers - fair warning that I have a photo-heavy post today.

This is what I put in my friend Sue's 'September First' envelope.  (For those that don't know, Sue lives in a city a few hours away from mine and we pop something in the mail to each other on the first of each month).

First up is the ATC trio ... made using a bunch of bits and pieces from my studio. I don't keep track of supplies when doing ATC's.

Next up is the shaped card. It was Cricut cut using the Elegant Edges cartridge. I had SO much fun designing this card using the Cricut Craft Room - it was the first time everything cut exactly as it was supposed to! The card is about 6" across.

The labels are a Sizzix die, words on the front by Hero Arts. Lots of foam tape and glitter glue on this Card!

Here is a peek at the inside:

We agreed to keep things simple, but she has had a very hectic summer and once again I really wanted to send her something special. Next month I'll go back to simple.  :-)

'Butterfly Joy' ATC

Today's share is an Artist Trading Card, made using the Tim Holtz ATC Sizzix die and bits & pieces from my stash.

The chipboard birdcage, ticket embellishment and acetate butterfly are by K&Co.

'Joyful Life' ATC

We have a bunch of company and we are out having fun. That means I'm not getting ANY creative time and hardly any computer time. Today it's cooler so I'm sneaking some time in for a quick post ... an ATC.

This Artist Trading Card is one I made for my friend Sue a long time ago - it still has my old blog watermark on the photo!

OK - everyone is getting ready for a hike, so ... gotta go again ...

'Scatter Joy' ATC

I have a bunch of photos in my 'Blog File' that have been there for far too long. Time to share some older projects!

This is an ATC (Artist Trading Card) that I sent to my friend Sue at some point. The photo even has my old blog watermark!

The main feature of this ATC are the lovely glass embellishments. I loved using them - and they just gave the piece such great dimension! Of course that doesn't show up very well in photos.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Valentine ATC's

I included 2 ATCs with Sue's February First mailing** using bits and pieces from my stash. I get out of the swing of making ATC's, but when I do start again I remember how much I enjoy the smaller canvas.

**For those new to my blog, my friend Sue and I pop something in the mail to each other the first of each month.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Singing Angels ATC

I have a really busy week preparing for out of town guests, and I don't know how much time I am going get in my studio. So today's share is a quickie with an older photo from my files.

This was in a file for me to post on my old blog, and still bears the watermark! It is an ATC that I sent along to Sue with one of her mailings.

I don't keep track of items when I'm doing ATC's - I just pull things from my stash and have fun creating.

Have a good week everyone, and thanks for stopping by.

Accordian Folded Tag

Today I have a 'Fancy Card Friday' post, showing the accordian fold tag I made for Sue for our June First mailing to each other. I used the Tim Holtz tag die, and the pink patterned paper & ink is also by Mr. Tim.

Warning, this is a photo heavy post!

I cut a separate tag for the front, trimmed it slightly smaller, then used the Papertrey Ink slider die to form a sliding track for the butterfly. All the remaining dies are also by Tim Holtz. I added some stamped words too, and inked the edges of the dies..

I used my Papertrey ink envelope die (which is the perfect size for an ATC!) and stamped an ATC to go with the tag.

Thanks for stopping by today.

The Best Things ATC

Here is one of the ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) I included with Sue's May First envelope.

I don't keep track of the supplies when making ATC's - I just grab things in my studio that I think will work and play away. This is a fairly simple one, but I love the embossing on the bird and how you can see the patterned paper through the embossed layers.

Be Extraordinary ATC

This is one of the ATC's (Artist Trading Card) I included in Sue's June 1st mailing.  For those that are new to my blog, my friend Sue lives in a city a couple of hours away from me. On the first of each month, we pop something in the mail to each other.

This is a quick post - I'm on the fly today.

Live In The Sunshine

I have an ATC (Artist Trading Card) to share today; one that I included in Sue's May 1st envelope. For those of you that are new to my blog, Sue and I live in cities 2.5 hours apart and the first of each month we pop something in the mail to each other.

I don't keep track of supplies when I make ATC's, they are just for the joy of creating. These colours make me happy these days.  I guess I'm almost out of my PINK phase and have moved quite happily into an ORANGE one.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Embrace Life ATC

This is an ATC that I sent to Sue with one of our mailings to each other. I wanted to use the Paper Lace cartridge as she had just purchased it. It's always fun to see ideas using something you already have.

I don't keep track of supplies when doing ATC's, so other than the Cricut cut I don't have any other details to post.

Plus, I'm on the run today - lots to do so am keeping this short and sweet.

Thanks for stopping by!
