C4C301 Use a Tag

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog.  Frances is our August hostess, and here is her challenge: "Tag You're It!  This week let's use a Tag on whatever you create. It can be an individual tag or you can add the tag to your card/project you create".

It was only  natural to use Karen Burniston's Tag Pivot for my card, which is available at independent retailers or Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I used this fun hot-air balloon patterned paper, which is orange patterned on the other side. To add the pattern to the front and back as well, I cut two 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" panels and attached them over the card base before cutting the Tag Pivot. This gave the card extra stability.

As a place to add a signature, I cut one of the Accessory dies that come with the Tag Pivot, but I stopped the cutting pad short of the end of the small tag. Then I just trimmed it the length I wanted it, and tucked it under the seam binding.

I had fun using the Lawn Fawn Hot Air balloon die set again, which also had the cloud die.

Finally, here is the back view ...

... and the view from the top.

Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C301.
