Poppy Card

I had a really productive evening, going through my Christmas papers and embellishments so I know what I have to make things for our Christmas Craft Sale. Now I need to get working on Christmas items!

Meanwhile, I have a card to share that uses some things out of my 'Odds and Sods' pile:

I had only the one poppy left (K&Co) from a package I bought over a year ago. Really, that poppy sat on my stamping area for over a year waiting for me to DO something with it. When I finally decided to use it -- it sure didn't take very long to make a card. Sheesh.  The fancy label was also in my pile - often when I have to Cricut cut a label, I cut extras ... so I don't know what cartridge this one came from.

The coordinating paper (also K&Co) is matted with white and everything placed on a black A2 card.

The words are by Hero Arts, and is a set I turn to again and again.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  3. Like the Poppy card. Brings back memories of the museum my hubby & I visited in KC, MO that has an area that has glass flooring and below the glass flooring there are poppies (artificial plastic ones) to represent all the lives lost in the wars.
