It is not what I wanted to do - I WANTED to use my Cricut and cut one of the many cute bunnies I have on my many cartridges. But I was out of time and I couldn't get near my Cricut anyhow. Because my studio is piled up with stuff I received for Christmas, stuff from making wedding items, and all the new stuff I brought home from the Mesa Rubber Stamp show. You know you have too much stuff when ...
Instead I pulled out one of my few remaining glossy bunny die cuts. I've had them for years and years - I think they are from Stampendous. Some pen stitching, stippling, embossing, a pom pom tail and black brad eye and my bunny was finished.
I dug this pink card, scalloped lined paper panel and floral paper out of my stash as well. A couple of summers ago I found this cute paper stack on clearance at Winners. I brought it home and cut it down to use for cards, then didn't look at the pile again until I went to make this card.
You know you have too much stuff when ...
I used a MFT grass die, a Sizzix Leafy Branch Die, PTI letter dies, and SU punches for the other elements on the card, then attached everything together.
I did get a little time in the studio last night. Instead of tidying up or putting things away, I played with one of my new stamps - a puppy stamp - and made a couple of cute cards. Cute. And it was soooo much fun. Next week I can get down there and tidy up and put things away or at least find homes for all the new stuff because I FINALLY got some playtime in.
I am SO going to enjoy using my new stamps. Because I didn't have enough stuff before. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today!

This is gorgeous Karen! I love the personalisation and the embossed bunny with his little tail, beady eye and blushing cheek!
ReplyDeleteAh Karen, I remember these bunnies, think I still have a few, like how you jazzed him up a bit. Someday when I make my MFT order I'll get that grass too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that Olivia will love the card!
