Baby Shower Card

Things went well yesterday, with Cooper and the puppy.

Whew!

There were a couple of spats, but there was actually some playing too which was great to see. A little on the aggressive side for Cooper, but we were all so happy to see him actually playing. He's only three, but he acts so much like an 'old man'. Puppy Tika is ADORABLE and we enjoyed watching she and Jasper play almost non stop. There really is nothing like a Golden Retriever puppy.  (Love)

Our daughter's friends are throwing her a baby shower today, and this is the card I made to go along with our gift.  I found these SWEET lamb stickers when visiting the US last month and knew they would be perfect for a baby card.  (And I've used some for Easter cards for next year too!)

I stamped the outline square (Stamps By Judith) with a rainbow green inkpad, then used torn paper masks to sponge in the hills. The dots (Stamps By Judith) were stamped in green and the sky was inked with light blue before I attached the felt lamb sticker.

I love my 'In The Meadow' hills (PTI) so I cut them out of Pear Pizzaz (SU), ran them through the Big Shot with the Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug) embossing folder, inked the edges and attached the tallest one to the front of the blue folded card (SU). The shorter one was attached with foam tape, and I also added some buttons tied with string.

The clouds (Impress) were cut out of white card stock, inked with brown and also attached to the blue card. Then the lamb 'scene' was popped up with foam tape.

I computer printed a cute baby shower verse on white card stock, & trimmed it to fit the inside of the blue card. This was such a fun card to make!

Thanks for stopping by today.
