Cupcake Birthday Pull Card

Good morning friends

I have a cheerful cupcake Birthday Card to share today, made using the Rectangle Pull Card die. This is a new die by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs, and I am getting a LOT of use out of it. A lot.

This Elizabeth Craft Designs Cupcake is easy to paper piece, and I love the look.  First I cut the die from black card stock that has double sided adhesive on the back.  I snipped the cupcake liner portion away from the icing, peeled off the backing and adhered it to the yellow print paper.  It was fussy cut then set aside.

The icing piece was then adhered to floral patterned paper in the same stack, but when I fussy cut it I left about 1/2" at the bottom to secure behind the cupcake liner. Then I lined up the black cupcake edges where they were cut apart and glued the icing to the liner!  The cherry was coloured with a marker, and I added some glitter glue highlights as well.

Just for fun I adhered Glitter dots and it was ready to add to the Stitched Label that comes with the Lorna Label Pop Up.

Here is a peek at the inside, which is revealed when the card is pulled open.

We have lots of birthday's coming up, so this card has gone into my stash for a few weeks.
