C4C278 Eiffel Tower Sketch Card

It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at the Crazy4Challenges Blog. Our hostess for March is Anja de Regt, and her Guest Designer is Andrea Murdock (My Stamping Heaven)

This week we have a sketch, and I did something completely different. I put the sketch on the inside of my card!  I used the new Eiffel Tower Pop Stand, by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Here is a look at the sketch, so you can see that I did a good job of following it. So not like me. Heh.

I added the embossed detail to the platforms and the tower itself. The platforms also got the Glitter Glue treatment.

Below is the front of the card. I added panels that would hide the two small holes that form the tabs to animate the Eiffel Tower. The back was left as is. I used one of the new Paris Edges to create that tiny Eiffel Tower, and inlaid it into the blue mottled panel. The lace at the top is printed on the paper and it's embossed and glittery. So I added Stickles to the Eiffel tower and outlined the cloud with it as well.

Into my stash, as this one is for my parents to give our middle daughter for her May Birthday.

Check out the blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge.  We'd sure love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C278.
