Birthday Banner Accordion Card

Good morning friends

Today's share is a birthday card I made for a friend in Arizona. I often combine several different Pop it Ups dies by Karen Burniston, as they all work together seamlessly. But today's card shows you that with one die set (the Accordion Rectangle) and one set of birthday stamps you can make a great card!

All the banners were fussy cut from a sheet of patterned paper in the stack. I used the Alpha die from Elizabeth Craft Designs to personalize the card, which is always a fun touch. You could use letter stickers or not do it at all, so I didn't count the Alpha die in the die count.

Loving these new Birthday stamps from Stampin' Up.

The blue colouring on the word birthday matches a LOT better that it shows in the photo.

Here is a look at the reverse side of the card. I cut different embellishments from the paper stack to decorate the panels.

My friend was thrilled with her card - she'd never seen an accordion cad before. I packaged it in a clear envelope/bag as I was hand delivering it.

Supplies used:
972 Accordion Rectangle, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
967 Alphabet 1 Caps - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Patterned card stock - DCWV
Black card stock - Stampin' Up
Cream card stock - Hobby Lobby
Birthday Stamps - Stampin' Up
With love stamp - Michaels (optional to creating the card)
Coloured pencils, Gamsol and blending stump
Stickles

Thanks for stopping by today
