Spiral Circle Pull Card with Holly Border

Good morning friends

I have another Christmas card to share today, using the Spiral Circle Pull Card die by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

ECD has a new double sided tape that works wonderfully with dies, because the liner is much thinner than the brand name tape we used up til now.  I cut a 2 x 6" piece of the tape and adhered one side to a 2 x 6" strip of the green patterned paper.  The beautiful holly border cut like a dream, and was easy peasy to adhere to my project because it was then essentially a sticker.

I added some glitter dots to the border, and brushed a bit of baby powder on the part that overhangs the cut away circle.  I decorated the front with a Merry Christmas Peel-Off and chipboard pine cone sticker.

When the card is pulled open, there is a place to add our signature and a decorated tree embellishment.

The tree was fussy cut from a printed tag in the same package as the patterned paper, decorated with Glitter Dots, and is hidden from sight when the card is in the closed position.

Today is the day that Karen Burniston has her post on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog - be sure to check it out and see all the amazing Designer Challenge Team projects in one spot, and Karen B's card and video is sure to inspire you. Check it out HERE, later this morning.
