Meet Dorky

Back in March when I attended the Mesa Rubber Stamp show and the Stamps By Judith booth, THIS fabulous dog stamp was the first stamp I put in my basket. 'Dorky' was the 2nd.  My daughter loved Dorky - it cracked her up, so of course I wanted to use it to make her first Mother's Day card.

This is a large, 6" square card made with double sided paper that has a bit of metallic in it. Dorky was stamped with black ink and coloured with Copic markers, and Small Dorky was stamped on either side. The shoes and hat are also Stamps By Judith - how fun is that? A crazy bird that you can dress up! Dorky makes me happy, and I know this card will make our daughter happy as she celebrates today.

Here is a peek at the inside, before I added the words.

It's amazing that last Mother's Day we were anxiously awaiting our first grandchild, and now she is a year old and walking. What a difference a year makes!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there!

  2. This is great fun Karen and I'm sure it made your daughter smile! I agree that such a lot can happen in a year and we remember that when things are tough!
